CSIR-CECRI Admit Card 2025: The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research – Central Electrochemical Research Institute (CSIR-CECRI), Karaikudi, has officially released the admit cards for the Trade/Skill Test scheduled for various Technical Assistant and Technician (1) posts.
Candidates who have been shortlisted for the next stage of selection can now download their admit cards from the official CSIR-CECRI website, cecri.res.in, starting April 3, 2025 (9:00 A.M onwards).
How to Download CSIR-CECRI Admit Card 2025
Candidates can access their admit cards by logging in to the CECRI portal using their Registration ID and Password. Those facing difficulties in downloading their admit card are advised to immediately contact the recruitment helpdesk via email at recruit@cecri.res.in or call 04565-241219.
It is mandatory for all candidates to carry a printed copy of the admit card along with an original valid photo ID proof (such as PAN Card, Passport, Driving License, Voter ID, Aadhaar Card, etc.) to the Trade Test venue.

The Trade/Skill Test will be conducted across multiple days: April 19, 20, and 27, 2025, at the following venues:
For Technical Assistant Posts:
- TA01 (Agriculture/Horticulture) – 27.04.2025 at CSIR-CECRI, Karaikudi
- TA02 (Library Science) – 27.04.2025 at CSIR-CECRI, Karaikudi
- TA03 (Mathematics/Statistics) – 27.04.2025 at the Department of Mathematics, Alagappa University, Karaikudi
- TA04 (Computer Science/IT) – 19.04.2025 & 20.04.2025 at Alagappa Government Polytechnic College, Karaikudi
- TA05 (Electrical & Electronics Engineering) – 20.04.2025 at Alagappa Government Polytechnic College, Karaikudi
- TA06 (Mechanical Engineering) – 27.04.2025 at CSIR-CECRI, Karaikudi
For Technician (1) Posts:
Trade Tests for various trades like Electrician/Wireman, Fitter, Machinist, Electronic Mechanic, Carpenter, Welder, COPA/PASAA, and more will be conducted mainly at:
- Alagappa Government Polytechnic College, Karaikudi
- Department of Fine Arts, Alagappa University, Karaikudi (for Painter post)
- CSIR-CECRI Campus, Karaikudi

CSIR-CECRI Technical Assistant/Technician Selection Porcess
Candidates who qualify the Trade/Skill Test will proceed to the next phase — a Written Examination, which will consist of:
- Paper I: Mental Ability Test
- Paper II: General Awareness and English Language
- Paper III: Subject-specific knowledge
The final merit list will be prepared based on performance in Paper II and Paper III. Trade/Skill Test performance is qualifying in nature and won’t contribute to the merit list but is essential for progression to the written stage.
