IPHB Goa Recruitment 2025: The Institute of Psychiatry and Human Behaviour (IPHB), Goa, has announced a walk-in interview for the recruitment of Psychiatrist and Assistant Professor in Psychiatric Nursing posts. These posts will be filled on a contract basis for one year or until the positions are filled regularly.

These posts are temporary and purely on a contract basis. Selected candidates will not be considered regular government employees.
Eligibility Criteria
1. Psychiatrist
Essential Qualification:
- A recognized medical qualification listed in the First, Second, or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
- If qualified under Part II, candidates must also meet the conditions under section 13(3) of the same Act.
- Postgraduate Degree or Diploma in Psychiatry recognized by the Medical Council of India.
- At least 2 years of experience as a Junior Resident in the Psychiatry specialty.
- Knowledge of Konkani is essential.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of Marathi.
2. Assistant Professor in Psychiatric Nursing
Essential Qualification:
- Master’s Degree in Psychiatric Nursing recognized by the Indian Nursing Council (INC).
- Five years of teaching experience after completing post-graduation.
- Knowledge of Konkani is essential.
Desirable:
- Ph.D. in Nursing.
- Knowledge of Marathi.
Age Limit
- Minimum: 18 years
- Maximum: 45 years
(Age relaxation will be as per the Goa Government rules.)
