India Post GDS Application Status: The Department of Posts, under the Ministry of Communications, Government of India, has activated the online application status link for the recruitment of Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDS) under the Schedule-I, January 2025 cycle.
Candidates who have applied for the 21,413 vacancies of Branch Postmaster (BPM), Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM), and Dak Sevaks can now check their application status to determine if their form has been accepted or rejected.

If an application has been rejected, it may be due to one of the following reasons:
- Incomplete Application: Missing details or documents.
- Incorrect Information: Mismatched details with official records.
- Invalid Photograph/Signature: Blurred or improper uploads.
- Failure to Meet Eligibility Criteria: Age limit, educational qualifications, or other eligibility conditions not fulfilled.
- Multiple Applications: Submitting more than one application from the same candidate.
Next Steps for Accepted Candidates
Candidates whose applications are accepted will be considered for the merit list, which will be prepared based on their Class 10th marks. Shortlisted candidates will be required to undergo document verification at the designated post offices. The final selection will be based on successful verification of original documents.

Salary and Benefits
Selected candidates will receive remuneration as per the Time-Related Continuity Allowance (TRCA):
- Branch Postmaster (BPM): ₹12,000 – ₹29,380 per month
- Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM)/Dak Sevak: ₹10,000 – ₹24,470 per month
Additionally, selected candidates will receive Dearness Allowance and other benefits as per government norms.

- Visit the Official Website: Go to https://indiapostgdsonline.gov.in.
- Click on the ‘Application Status’ Link: Locate and click on the designated link to check the application status.
- Enter Registration Number: Provide the registration number obtained during the application process.
- Submit the Details: Click on the submit button to view the application status.
- Check Acceptance or Rejection: The status will indicate whether the application has been accepted or rejected.

The online application process began on February 10, 2025, and concluded on March 3, 2025. The correction window was available from March 6, 2025, to March 8, 2025. Candidates who made errors in their applications were given the opportunity to make necessary corrections within this period.
