The State Level Police Recruitment Board (SLPRB) Assam has announced a change in the schedule for the Assam Police Constable recruitment 2025. The written exam, which was originally planned for March 23, 2025, has been postponed to April 6, 2025. Along with the exam, the release of admit cards has also been delayed.
Instead of March 17, 2025, the admit cards will now be available for download from April 1, 2025, starting at 11 AM. This decision was made due to administrative reasons, as stated in the official notice released by SLPRB.
Candidates who are eligible for the written test can download their admit cards from the official SLPRB website, slprbassam.in, using their application numbers, names, and dates of birth. The admit card is a crucial document for appearing in the exam, and candidates must carry a printed copy of it along with a valid government-issued photo ID, such as an Aadhar card, PAN card, driving license, or Voter ID. The board has clearly stated that no requests for changing the exam center will be entertained, so candidates must appear at the center mentioned on their admit cards.

The recruitment drive is being conducted for various posts in the Assam Police and related departments. Some of the key positions include Constable (UB), Constable (AB), Boatman, Sub-Officer, Emergency Rescuer, and other specialized roles.
There are a total of 4,895 vacancies across different posts, making this a significant opportunity for job seekers in Assam. The detailed vacancy list includes roles like Constable of Police (Communication), Nurse, Laboratory Technician, and Craft Instructor, among others.
