The WBPSC Clerkship Examination is divided into two parts, each designed to assess different skill sets:

- Total Marks: 100
- Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes
- Focus: This part tests the general knowledge, arithmetic skills, and basic proficiency in English and Bengali.
Part II:
- Format: Descriptive (conventional) questions

- Duration: 1 hour
- Focus: Candidates will be evaluated on their ability to write clear, accurate, and grammatically correct language, as well as their writing skills in Bengali/English.
