Defence Research & Development Organisation Eligibility Criteria
Experience
(a) Officers/Officials who retired from Central/State Govt., PSUs, Autonomous Bodies, Universities, Govt. Possesses practical knowledge and experience as per the terms of reference (TOR) of the R&D organization and the field for which he is applying.
(b) Persons having working experience with DRDO will be given preference during selection/appointment.
(c) The applicant must have effective communication (both oral and written) and interpersonal skills to examine his work areas in depth.

Pay Scale
Other Allowances
Consultants shall not be entitled to any allowances/facilities like dearness allowance, transport facility, residential accommodation, personal staff, CGHS, medical reimbursement etc. However, if they have to travel within the country for official work in the organization, he/she will be entitled to TA/DA at the rate commensurate with his/her grade pay/pay level (as applicable) from where he/she retired.
